First, I want to say thank you to Allah, who give me a time to speech in this special moment. Also to Prophet Muhammad, his families, and his friends.

The Indonesian Declaration of Independence was officially proclaimed at 10.00 a.m. sharp on Friday, August 17, 1945. The declaration marked the start of the five year diplomatic and armed-resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia's independence in 1949. In 2005, the Netherlands declared that they recognized Indonesian independence is in 1945, not 1949.

Every year on 17th August, Indonesia’s celebrate the Independence Day. It’s very fun. There are a lot of contest, like Panjat Pinang. And in Istana Merdeka, they are having ceremony. May be, some of you go to have celebrate. You must be spirit in the Independence Day, you look our hero, and they are held the pass to gain freedom. And us, we’re as the student, we have to have spirit to celebrate the Independence Day. If you confess you’re Indonesia’s people, you must care about Indonesia, the Independence Day of Indonesia, and all of Indonesia you must like, because it’s your country.

It be a great honour for me, to stand right here in front of you all to give a speech about education under the title "What happen with our education?" in this National Education Day or HARDIKNAS.

To begin this speech, I would ask you two things about our education. What happen with our education? Is our education well enough or bad enough if we compere with other country?

If you have ever heard about the news last year about our international education rank, you would be surprised. As quoted form Education for All (EFA) Global Monitoring Report 2011 which is published by UNESCO and launched in New York on Sunday, 1/3/2011, our international education rank is at 69th place from 129 surveyed countries all over the world. This rank is lower than in 2010.

It opens a question that runs in my head, what happen with our education? Indonesia is a great country with many talented young generations. It was undoubted again that there are so many Indonesian students who win the international education Olympiads such as mathematics, chemical, physics and other. But why our international education rank is still low. So what happen with with our education?

Our government had made some policies which relate to the improvement of our educational standard by improving the national examination (UN) standard which rise year by year. Our government also made an effort to improve our educational standard by improving the teachers' quality with a programme which well known as "Sertifikasi". But why our education rank never change. So what happen with our with education?

So what happen with our education?

But sooner I realize one thing. Our education rank actually depends on one thing, only one thing. Our education rank depends on us. Good or bad the education of the countries depend on their students. If we want to change our bad educational paradigm, lets begin with change our perspective with the terms of education itself by keep trying, keep studying, keep innovating, keep inventing for sake of our education.

Not much that I can say to day, just a few of words above that I can deliver to you at this moment, thank a lot for your attention and I also ask forgiveness for my mistakes, and the last I say:

Menjadi kehormatan tersendiri bagi saya, untuk berdiri di sini di depan anda sekalian untuk memberikan sebuah pidato tentang pendidikan berjudul "Ada apa dengan pendidikan kita?" di hari pendidikan nasional atau HARDIKNAS ini.

Untuk memulai pidato ini, saya akan bertanya pada kalian dua hal tentang pendidikan kita. Ada apa dengan pendidikan kita? Apakah pendidikan kita cukup baik atau cukup buruk jika kita bandingkan dengan negara lain?

Jika anda sekalian pernah mendengar tentang berita tahun lalu tentang peringkat internasional pendidikan kita, anda akan terkejut. Seperti di kutip dari Education for All (EFA) Global Monitoring Report 2011 yang di keluarkan oleh UNESCO dan di luncurkan di New York pada hari Senin, 1/3/2011, peringkat pendidikan internasional kita berada pada tempat ke 69 dari 129 negara yang di survey di seluruh dunia. Peringkat ini lebih rendah dari pada di tahun 2010.

Ini membuka sebuah pertanyaan yang berlarian di kepala saya, ada apa dengan pendidikan kita? Indonesia adalah negara hebat dengan banyak generasi muda bertalenta. Tidak diragukan lagi bahwa terdapat banyak siswa Indonesia yang memenangkan olimpiade-olimpiade pendidikan internasional seperti matematik, kima, fisika dan lainnya. Tetapi mengapa peringkat internasional pendidikan kita masih rendah. Jadi ada apa dengan pendidikan kita?

Pemerintah kita telah membuat beberapa kebijakan yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan standar pendidikan kita dengan meningkatkan patokan ujian nasional (UN) yang meningkat tahun demi tahunnya. Pemerintah kita juga membuat sebuah usaha untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan kita dengan meningkatkan kualitas guru-guru dengan sebuah program yang dikenal dengan "Sertifikasi". Tetapi mengapa peringkat pendidikan kita tidak pernah berubah. Jadi ada apa dengan pendidikan kita?

Tetapi segera saya menyadari satu hal. Peringkat pendidikan kita sebenarnya bergantung pada satu hal, hanya satu hal. Peringkat pendidikan kita tergantung pada kita. Baik atau buruknya pendidikan suatu negara tergantung siswa-siswanya. Jika kita ingin merubah paradigma buruk pendidikan kita, mari kita mulai dengan merubah pandangan kita dengan istilah pendidikan itu sendiri dengan tetap mencoba, tetap belajar, tetap berinovasi, tetap menemukan untuk kebaikan pendidikan kita.

Conscious or not, we live in this world depends on environment, we drink water from our environment, we breath air from our environment and we eat foods which planted form our environment. Our environment has a great influence in our live. Good or bad our environment definitely will affect our live especially in our health.

Few years ago, when I was younger, I saw many trees in my environment. But right now those trees are gone which causes the Carbon Monoxide can’t be change into Oxygen.

Few years ago, when I was younger, I can breathe deeper without any trouble of cough. But right now when I breathe for just one second, I suddenly cough.

Few years ago, when I was younger, every step that I took, I saw no trash in my sight. But right now trash is like be my friend in every my step.

I am sure those experiences have been ever experienced by all people here. So what should we do to recover our environment? I am standing here is not just to tell you about the condition of our environment only, I also want to invite you to do some good things such as planting some trees and put trash in the right place so our environment will save.

Sandar atau tidak, kita hidup di dunia ini bergantung pada lingkungan, kita minum air dari lingkungan kita, kita menghirup udara dari lingkungan kita, kita makan makanan yang di tanam dari lingkungan kita. Lingkungan kita mempunyai pengaruh yang besar untuk kehidupan kita. Baik atau buruk lingkungan kita secara langsung akan berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan kita khususnya kesehatan kita.

Beberapa tahun yang lalu, ketika saya masih kecil, saya melihat banyak pohon di lingkungan saya. Tetapi sekarang pohon-pohon itu telah tiada yang telah menyebabkan Carbon Monxida tidak bisa dirubah menjadi Oksigen.

Beberapa tahun yang lalu, ketika saya masih kecil, saya bisa bernapas lebih dalam tanpa ada gangguan batuk. Tetapi sekarang ketika saya bernapas hanya untuk sesaat, saya tiba-tiba batuk.

Beberapa tahun yang lalu, ketika saya masih kecil, setiap langkah yang saya ambil, saya tidak melihat adanya sampah. Tetapi sekarang sampah sudah seperti teman di setiap langkah ku.

Saya yakin pengalaman-pengalaman itu pernah dialami oleh semua orang di sini. Jadi apa yang harus kita lakukan untuk memperbaiki lingkungan kita? In this day, I will take a speech about “How to Face Globalization Era”. As we all know, nowadays our world is in globalization era. We often hear it. Globalization is the process of transformation of local o regional phenomena into global or international phenomena. This process is a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural and political forces. In other words, every country in this world can influence other countries. Because of globalization, this world which consists of many countries is like “a global village”. This term refers to the fact that people are considered to live in this planet without borders, without limitation. People are able to access any kinds of information easily. There is no difficulty to communicate, there is no barrier to interact with other people from all over the world.

Brothers and sisters…
Globalization has various aspects which affect the world, such as: in industry, finance, economy, politics, technology, and socio-culture. If our country wants to survive in this globalization era, we must be smart people. We should take all of the positive effects of globalization and we should not take the negative effects. For example: we need to adopt and learn high technology from developed country in order to develop our country. On the contrary, we must not imitate bad attitudes or behaviors from other countries like free sex and drugs abuse.

It is a fact that there are many challenges in globalization era. It cannot be denied that globalization is related with competition and the ability to survive. The question is: what should we do in order to face the globalization era? The first one is, build up and strengthen good characters based on the religion. If we are Moslem, the guide of our lives is Islam. Second, we must master technology in order to develop our country. The last, always be ready to face any kinds of change and competition by preparing and upgrading our skills.

Istilah ini mengacu kepada fakta bahwa manusia dianggap untuk hidup di planet ini tanpa adanya pemisah, tanpa adanya batas. Manusia dapat mengakses berbagai macam jenis informasi secara mudah. Tidak ada kesulitan untuk berkomunikasi, tidak ada halangan untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain dari seluruh dunia.

Globalisasi mempunyai banyak aspek yand mempengaruhi dunia, seperti dalam industri, keuangan, ekonomi, politik, tekhnologi, dan sosial-kultural. Jika negara kita ingin bertahan di dalam era globalisasi ini, kita harus menjadi orang yang pintar. Kita harus mengambil semua dampak positif dari glabalisasi dan kita tidak harus mengambil dampak negatifnya. Contohnya: kita butuh mengadopsi dan belajar tekhnologi tinggi dari negara maju agar bisa mengembangkan negara kita. Tetapi, kita mesti tidak meniru kebiasaan atau kelakuan buruk dari negara-negara lain seperti seks bebas dan obat-obatan.

First of all, let us praise to the Almighty Allah SWT, because of His Blessing we are able to come here, to attend a farewell ceremony for the students of SMAN 1 Tanjung grade XII in the academic year 2011–2012. Secondly, may shalawat and salam be upon the Prophet Muhammad SAW who has guided us from the darkness into the brightness.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters…

In this good opportunity, I stand here to represent all the students of SMAN 1 Tanjung Grade XII to give a valedictory speech.

On the behalf of all students grade XI ….

Firstly, we would like to say thank you very much for all the teachers of SMAN1 Tanjung who have taught, educated, and guided us so that we can pass the national exam (UN) successfully. Thank you very much for your dedication. We know that your advice, guidance, and motivations have made us better not only in thinking but also in attitudes. My teachers… we realize that we cannot give you reward. We can only give you gratitude and pray. May God repay your kindness. May God always bless you all…

Secondly, we would like to apologize to all of the teachers, administration staffs and all the elements of SMAN 1 Tanjung. Please, forgive our mistakes… forgive all the bad things that we have done… and hopefully we can make our attitudes better than before.

Thirdly, especially to our younger brothers and sisters in grade X and XI we would like to remind you, please keep studying hard, obey your teachers’ advices, try to be better than us. And, please pray for us to be able to continue our study... so that someday we will become successful and useful persons for this country and our society.

Pertama-tama marilah kita penjatkan puji syukur kehadirat Allah SWT, karena rahmat dan hidayatnya kita bisa berada di sini, untuk menghadiri upacara perpisahan siswa SMAN 1 Tanjung kelas XII di tahun akademik 2011–2012. Yang kedua, solawat serta salam untuk nabi besar Muhammad SAW yang telah menuntun kita dari kegelapan ke keterang-benerang.

Soudara-soudara sekalian
Di kesempatan yang baik ini, saya berdiri di sini mewakili seluruh siswa SMAN 1 Tanjung kelas XII untuk memberikan sebuah pidato perpisahaan.

Pertama-tama, kita ingin mengucapkan banyak terimakasih untuk semua guru SMAN 1 Tanjung yang telah mengajarkan, medidik, dan menuntun kami sehingga kita bisa melalui ujian nasional (UN) dengan sukses. Terimakasih banyak untuk dedikasinya. Kita tahu bahwa saran, petunjuk, dan motivasi kalian telah membuat kita lebih baik tidak hanya dalam pemikiran tetapi juga pada sikap kami. Guru-guruku… kita menyadari bahwa kita tidak bisa memberi kalian balasan yang pantas. Kita hanya bisa bersyukur dan berdoa. Semoga Tuhan membalas kebaikan kalian. Semoga Tuhan memberkati kalian semua…

Yang kedua, kita ingin meminta maaf kepada seluruh guru, staf TU semua unsur pendukung SMAN 1 Tanjung. Tolong maafkanlah kami… maafkanlah semua kelakuan buruk kami yang telah kami perbuat… dan kami berharap sikap kami lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Yang ketiga, khususnya adik-adik kita di kelas X dan XI saya ingin mengatkan kalian, belajarlah yang rajin, patuhi saran guru, berusahalah untuk lebih baik dari pada kami. Dan doakanlah kami agar bisa melanjutkan ke jenjang selanjutnya... Supaya suatu hari nanti kita bisa menjadi orang yang sukses dan berguna untuk negeri ini dan masyarakat kita.

Mungkin sampai sini pidato perpisahan dari saya. Saya minta maaf untuk kata-kata saya yang salah. Honoriable ones the juries, the participant of English speech contest, and all audiences.

Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you to thank to Allah the Almighty, Who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in this blessing place. And also I don't forget to deliver sholawat and salam to our prophet Muhammad SAW, Who has brought us from the darkness to the brightness, so we are always in the right way.

Ladies and gentlemen.

Today, in this gold oppurtunity, I would like to give a speech in front of you all about "Drugs"

I am sure you all already know, and may be better than me about what drugs is and what the advantages and disadvantages are. Drugs actually is a medicine for anaesthetize patients in surgery. But that perception was misapplied by some people.

Drugs have been misapplied by some people for a long time. Some people which use drugs beyond the medical treatment consider that drags can make them feel better when they facing some problems and for other reasons such as can make them feel easy to find new brilliant ideas or just for a pleasure.

I am sure you will never forget the newest accident in Tugu Tani, Jakarta, when a drugs user, Apriliani, drived her car with high speed and hit the pedestrians in a halte. It obviously proof that in the effect of drugs, hallucination of the drugs user is biger than other normal people. They cannot make a distinguish between the real world and the hallucination world and consider all things in arround them are like a dream and they was not real.

The effect of drugs is not only dangerous for drugs user it self, with it's big risks such as overdosis, HIV/AIDS and some damage in our brain and mental, drugs also dangerous for the people in surronding us, such the example above. It opens our eyes that the usage of drugs beyond the medical treatments is profitless. Because drugs just lead us in the descruction for the user it self and for other people surronding.

Dear ladies and gentlemen

But it is so sad, if we hear many young generation consume the drugs such as Heroin, cokain, Koplo, dextron, extacy, marijuana , just to be drunk, to get enjoyment, to get satisfation, without think their future, they only think the temporary pleasure.

As moslems we have the guidance from the holy qur’an that drinking alcoholic drink is forbiden, and it is bad action, and despicable deed, as Allah Said in the holy quran : "ya ayyuhalladzina amanu innamal khomru walmaysir wal anshob wal azlam rijsummin amalisyton fajtanibuhu laalakum tuflihun." It means : "oh ye the believers actually alcoholic drink, gambling, and draw destiny is despicable from the evil’s action so avoid them, may be you will be the pleasure people.(almaidah verse : 90)"

Because the drugs or the alcoholic drink is so dangerous for our health, for our body, for our future. So we must keep a way from it. we must avoid it. Don’t try to consume it, don’t try to sell or buy it.

Those are what I can deliver to you at this moment, thank a lot for your attention and I ask forgiveness for my mistakes, and the last I say:

Yang terhormat para juri, para peserta dari lomba pidato bahasa Inggris dan para pengunjug.

Para hadirin yang terhormat.

Hari ini, di kesempatan emas ini, saya ingin menyampaikan sebuah pidato di depan anda sekalian tentang "Narkoba"

Saya yakin anda sekalian sudah tahu, dan mungkin lebih baik dari pada saya tentang apa itu narkoba dan apa itu manfaat dan ketidakmanfaatannya. Narkoba sebenarnya adalah sebuah obat untuk membius pasien pada operasi. Tetapi persepsi tersebut disalah gunakan oleh sebagian orang.

Narkoba telah disalah gunakan oleh sebagian orang sudah sangat lama. Sebagian orang yang menggunakan narkoba di luar perawatan medis menganggap bahwa narkoba dapat membuat mereka merasa lebih baik ketika mereka menghadapi sejumlah masalah dan untuk alasan-alasan yang lain seperti dapat membuat mereka merasa mudah untuk menemukan ide-ide baru yang brillian atau hanya untuk kesenangan belaka.

Saya yakin anda tidak akan pernah melupakan tragedi terbaru di Tugu Tani, Jakarta, ketika seorang pengguna narkoba, Apriliani, mengendarai mobilnya dengan kecepatan tinggi dan menabrak pejalan kaki di sebuah halte. Itu sudah jelas membuktikan bahwa pengaruh narkoba, halusinasi dari pengguna narkoba lebih besar dari pada orang normal lainnya. Mereka tidak bisa membedakan antara dunia nyata dan dunia halusinasi dan menganggap segala hal disekelilingnya hanyalah sebuah mimpi dan bukanlah kenyataan.

Pengaruh narkoba tidak hanya berbahaya untuk pengguna narkobanya saja, dengan risiko besarnya seperti overdosis, HIV/AIDS dan beberapa kerusakan di otak dan mental, narkoba juga berbahaya untuk orang-orang di sekeliling kita, seperti contoh di atas. Itu membuka mata kita bahwa penggunaan narkoba di luar pelayanan medis tidak ada manfaatnya. Karena narkoba hanya menuntuk kita ke kehancuran untuk penggunanya dan untuk orang-orang di sekelilingnya.

Para hadirin yang terhormat.

Tapi sungguh sangat menyedihkan, jika kita mendengar banyak generasi muda mengkonsumis narkoba seperti Heroin, cokain, koplo, dextron, ektasi, ganja, hanya untuk mabuk, untuk mendapatkan kenikmatan, untuk mendapatkan kepuasan, tanpa memikirkan masa depan mereka, yang mereka pikirkan hanyalah kesenangan sementara.

Sebagai muslim kita mempunyai petunjuk dari Al-quran yang suci bahwa meminum minuman beralkohol dilarang, dan merupakan tindakan yang buruk, dan juga perbuatan tercela, sebagaiman Allah berfirman dalam Al-quran: "a ayyuhalladzina amanu innamal khomru walmaysir wal anshob wal azlam rijsummin amalisyton fajtanibuhu laalakum tuflihun." Yang berarti: "Hai orang-orang mukmin! Sesungguhnya arak dan judi dan berhala dan azlam adalah kotor berasal dari perbuatan setan; oleh krn itu jauhilah supaya kamu beruntung.(Al-maidah ayat: 90)"

Karena narkoba dan minuman beralkohol sangat berbahaya untuk kesehatan kita, untuk tubuh kita, untuk masa depan kita. Jadi kita harus menjauh darinya. Kita harus mencegahnya. Jangan coba untuk mengkonsumisnya, jagan coba untuk menjual atau membelinya.

Itu adalah apa yang saya bisa sampaikan untuk anda sekalian di kesempatan ini, terimakasih banyak untuk perhatiannya dan saya minta maaf untuk kesalahan-kesalahan saya, dan akhir kata:

Cara Membuat Pidato Bahasa Inggris - Menulis sebuah pidato bisa menjadi sebuah momok tersendiri bagi banyak orang. Mungkin khawatir mengenai kualitas keterampilan menulis anda, gugup dengan belum berpengalamannya anda dalam berbicara di depan umum atau mungkin anda belum tahu harus menulis apa. Untuk itu, pada kesempatan kali ini, penulis akan menunjukkan bagaimana menulis sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris.

Tapi sebelum menulis sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris, anda harus memiliki rencana untuk pidato tersebut. Rencana pidato terdiri dari :

Penentuan di kesempatan atau di acara apa anda akan menyampaikan pidato tersebut. Misalnya : hari kemerdekaan, hari ibu, hari pendidikan, perpisahan siswa, dan lain sebagainya.
Penentuan tema yang potensial atau cocok dengan acara. Misalnya tentang kepahlawannan, ibu, narkoba, perpisahan, dan lain sebagainya.
Mengidentifikasi siapa saja audience (pendengar/ penonton) pidato anda. Hal ini penting karena sebuah pidato harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi pendengar/ penontonnya.

Setelah menyusun perencanaan pidato, anda bisa langsung membuat pidato bahasa Inggris tentunya dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah berikut ini.

1. Membuat kerangka pidato

Sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris yang baik haruslah memiliki kerangka pidato yang jelas. Dengan menyertakan pembukaan, isi dan penutup pada pidato bahasa Inggris anda, anda secara langsung telah membuat fondasi dari sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris yang baik. Di bawah ini adalah kerangka dari sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris.

(Pembukaan) Opening

30 detik pertama dari pidato bahasa inggris mungkin merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Pada periode waktu ini anda harus merebut perhatian pengunjung, dan mengajak ketertarikan mereka pada apa yang akan anda katakan pada pidato bahasa Inggris anda. Hal ini dapat dicapai dengan beberapa cara. Misalnya anda bisa memunculkan sebuah pertanyaan provokatif, membuat pernyataan menarik atau kontroversial, menceritakan sebuah kutipan yang relevan atau bahkan menceritakan sebuah cerita lucu. Ketika anda telah memenangkan perhatian pengunjung, pidato anda harus beralih ke bagian isi dari pidato bahasa Inggris anda.

Isi (Body)

Isi dari pidato bahasa Inggris anda akan selalu menjadi bagian terbesar dari pidato bahasa Inggris anda. Pada bagian ini, pengunjung akan diperkenalkan oleh anda persoalan atau permasalahan yang di angkat (seperti yang tertera di pembukaan) dan diharapkan akan siap mendengarkan pendapat-pendapat anda, pemikiran-pemikiran tentang persoalan atau permasalahan yang di angkat dalam pidato bahasa Inggris anda.

Cara terbaik dalam menyusun bagian isi dari sebuah pidato bahasa inggris adalah dengan menyusun point-point permasalahan yang akan disampaikan. Point-point tersebut bisa berupa point pengenalan permasalahan, point pendapat tentang permasalahan, atau pun point tentang penyelesaian permasalahan tersebut.

Point-point tersebut harus disusun dengan rapi sehingga antara point yang satu dengan point yang lain bisa saling terhubung walaupun berbeda paragraf. Hal ini juga akan memberikan kesan perubahan yang lebih logis dari pidato bahasa Inggris anda, dan membuat lebih mudah pekerjaan mendengarkan pengunjung.

Jangan mencoba untuk memberikan pengunjung anda dengan point-point permasalahan yang banyak. Lebih baik buatlah point-point permasalahan yang sedikit dari pada membuat point permasalahan yang banyak tapi tidak ada pengunjung yang mengerti atau puas dengan pidato bahasa Inggris anda.

Penutup (Closing)

Seperithalnya pembukaan, penutup dari pidato bahasa Inggris anda haruslah mengandung beberapa materi yang kuat. Anda haru melihat penutup pidato bahasa Inggris anda sebagai sebuah kesempatan. Sebuah kesempatan untuk :

a. Memberikan kesimpulan dari persoalan/ permasalahan yang ada pada pidato bahasa Inggris anda.

b. Memberikan beberapa pemikiran/ pandangan kepada pengunjung anda.

c. Tinggalkan beberapa memori positif dari pidato bahasa Inggris yang telah anda sampaikan kepada pengunjung.

d. Akhiri dengan mengucapkan terima kasih, permintaan maaf jika terdapat kesalahan kata, dan akhiri dengan salam.

2. Membuat Outline Pidato Bahasa Inggris

Membuat outline merupakan teknik pre-draf yang populer ketikan menulis dan merupakan salah satu yang biasanya direkomendasikan untuk para penulis pidato.

Sebuah outline merupakan representasi hierarki dari isi pidato anda. Bayangkan saja outline seperti kerangka tulang yang akan di tambahkan daging dari pidato anda.

Di bawah ini penulis sertakan contoh dalam pembuatan sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris. Ambillah kita akan membuat sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris tentang Pendidikan. Pertama-tama buatlah kerangka pidato terlebih dahulu seperti ini.

Setelah membuat kerangka pidato seperti di atas, kita tambahkan beberapa point-point sehingga menjadi outline dari sebuah pidato seperti di bawah ini:

3. Membuat Draft (Garis Besar) Pidato

Sekarang saatnya menambahkan daging ke outline anda dan membuat draf pertama dari pidato anda. Sebelum kita mulai, catat bahwa draft hanyalah sebuah draft. Draft yang anda buat sekarang bukanlah akhir draf akhir yang anda cantumkan dalam pidato anda.

Outline yang kita buat pada langkah ke dua akan disajikan sebagai dasar dari pembuatan draft pada bagian ini. Kita ambil setiap unsur dari outline di atas dan gunakan pemikiran kreatif kita untuk mengembangkan unsur-unsur outline tersebut.

Tidak ada istilah benar atau salah pada pengembangan outline menjadi draft. Jadilah diri anda sendiri, gunakan suara anda sendiri, dan ingatlah, anda bisa mengubah segalanya yang anda tulis kemudian. Yang terpenting sekarang adalah membangun draft pertama anda.

4. Mendapatkan Feedback (Masukan) Untuk Pidato Anda

Setelah berhasil membuat draft dari sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris seperti yang kita buat di atas. Langkah selanjutnya adalah kita harus mendapatkan feedback (masukan) dari orang di sekeliling kita yang dianggap mumpuni dalam membuat menulis bahasa Inggris tentunya.

Bagian ini merupakan langkah tak ternilai yang akan memperkaya pidato anda dan secara tepat menyelamatkan anda dari banyak kontroversial. Langkah ini lebih baik dilakukan untuk mempelajari masalah-masalah yang ada pada pidato anda dari pada langsung disampaikan di depan umum.

Idealnya anda harus mencari feedback (masukan) dari 2-3 orang, yang pastinya orang yang tahu benar bagaimana menulis bahasa Inggris dengan baik dan benar.

Contoh-contoh feedback (masukan) yang harus kamu cari termasuk:

Isi yang tidak tepat
Penghilangan kesalahan-kesalahan
Masalah tata bahasa (grammar)
Ketepatan penggunaan gaya bahasa, seperti humor, dll.

5. Langkah Akhir

Sebagai langkah pamungkas (akhir) dalam pembuatan sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris, anda bisa langsung menuliskan draft-draft yang anda buat sebelumnya. Tentunya ditulis seperti menulis sebuah pidato pada umumnya. Dan ingatlah tulis draft-draft tersebut setelah anda melakukan penyempurnaan sebelumnya setelah mendapatkan feedback (masukan) dari teman and

Pidato Bahasa Inggris. Kali ini saya akan mencoba membagi kepada anda semua Pidato Bahasa Inggris, yang sebelumnya saya juga pernah menyajikan Pidato Bahasa Jawa dan kali ini untuk yang berbahasa Inggris. Bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa Internasional jadi kita harus bisa berbahasa inggris.

Bukannya hanya itu saja tugas yang sering dikasih bapak/ibu guru biasanya disuruh berpidato dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris, oleh karena itu saya mencoba memberikan sedikit contoh pidatonya. The topic of my speech is "How to Face Globalization Era".

As we all know, nowadays our world is in globalization era. We often hear it.
Globalization is the process of transformation of local or regional phenomena into
global or international phenomena. This process is a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural and political forces. In other words, every country in this world can influence other countries.

Because of globalization, this world which consists of many countries is like "a global village". This term refers to the fact that people are considered to live in this planet without borders, without limitation. People are able to access any kinds of information easily. There is no difficulty to communicate, there is no barrier to interact with other people from all over the world.
Brothers and sisters...

Globalization has various aspects which affect the world, such as: in industry,
finance, economy, politics, technology, and socio-culture. If our country wants to
survive in this globalization era, we must be smart people. We should take all of the positive effects of globalization and we should not take the negative effects. For
example: we need to adopt and learn high technology from developed country in
order to develop our country. On the contrary, we must not imitate bad attitudes or
behaviors from other countries like free sex and drugs abuse.

Brothers and sisters...

It is a fact that there are many challenges in globalization era. It cannot be denied that globalization is related with competition and the ability to survive. The question is: what should we do in order to face the globalization era?
The first one is, build up and strengthen good characters based on the religion. If we are Moslem, the guide of our lives is Islam. Second, we must master technology in
order to develop our country. The last, always be ready to face any kinds of change
and competition by preparing and upgrading our skills.

Teenagers are the most important part of the growth of the country. They are the new generation. However there are many teenagers have been depraved. They run to drugs, commit suicide free sex, drink alcohol, smoking, etc. Those are spreading in teenagers’ life. And the most popular problem is free sex. Many teenagers think that sex before married is proper. We know that it is very bad for them. There are many bad effect of free sex. Such as, we can suffer from HIV/AIDS and then the pregnancy for the girls. It will damage their future.
Teenagers must be given sex education especially at school. The need of comprehension about human sexuality in teenagers’ life must be fulfilled. They must know about free sex life and the sex crime that often happened. They must aware about responsibility of their self. They should get much information about sexuality rightly for them. The information can be given by sex education at school. The teachers can describe sex for the students in order that the teenagers will avoid sex before married.
School is good mediator in giving sex education for the teenagers. School has good condusif situation. School and the teachers are the second circle after the family. It will be better if the teachers hold an event like seminar with a doctor as the speaker. In order that the teenagers can get sex education deeply and give them the aim of sexual activity correctly. With sex education, the teenagers will be careful in doing something about sex. Although they know about how to avoid the pregnancy, put virginity is very important for the woman. Sex before married just makes us fall into a trap. There are some aims of sex education for the teenagers. Which are they can understand that sexuality as the part of life. They also know about the consequences of un-responsible sex activity.
So, sex education is very needed for the teenagers. Starting now, sex education must be given to them. And for sure, the teenagers that fall into free sex. Drugs, alcohol, etc just a few part of many teenagers that want to study hard, and avoiding free sex.

It is a great honor for me to stand here and give a brief speech entitled “Formal Education
in Indonesia”
Brothers and Sisters;
Education system in our country is divided into two major parts, they are formal and
non-formal. A formal education is divided into three levels: primary, secondary and
tertiary education. While non-formal education is carried out for the learners who get
difficulties to meet the requirements in formal education. An example of non-formal
education is PLS (Pendidikan Luar Sekolah). Both formal and non-formal education aim
at establishing the education process in our country.

Ladies and Gentlemen;
As I have stated previously, formal education involves three levels: primary, secondary
and tertiary education. Before entering primary or elementary school, children in our
country usually have attended kindergarten, or known as Taman Kanak-kanak. But this
education is not compulsory for Indonesian citizens, as the aim of this is just to prepare
them for primary school.

Children ages 7–12 attend primary education at Elementary School or Sekolah Dasar.
This level of education is compulsory for all Indonesian citizens. Similar to education
systems in the U.S. and Australia, students must study for six years to complete this level.
Some schools offer an accelerated learning program, where students who perform well
can finish elementary school in five years.
The next level is secondary education. After graduating from elementary school, students
attend Middle School or Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) for three years
from the age of 13-15. After three years of schooling and graduation, students may move
on to Senior High School. In Indonesia, this school is basically divided into two kinds:
SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) and SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan). SMA is
different with SMK in their studies. The students at SMA are prepared to advance to
tertiary education or university, while students of SMK as a vocational school are
prepared to be ready to work after finishing their school without going to
university/college.
The last level of education in our country is tertiary education. Students who have
graduated from senior high school may attend to university or academy. They can choose
any kinds of university or academy based on their interests or scopes of knowledge, for
example majoring in English, Mathematics, or teacher training university.

If you don’t do it, it may not happen.

“Thomas Jefferson said we can’t be ignorant and free at the same time. Ignorance is a kind of slavery. That has always been true. What’s new is the number of people who might be pushing you in the wrong direction.

The President: Hello everyone – how’s everybody doing today? I’m here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I’m glad you all could join us today.

I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, it’s your first day in a new school, so it’s understandable if you’re a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you’re in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer, and you could’ve stayed in bed just a little longer this morning.

I know that feeling. When I was young, my family lived in Indonesia for a few years, and my mother didn’t have the money to send me where all the American kids went to school. So she decided to teach me extra lessons herself, Monday through Friday – at 4:30 in the morning.

Now I wasn’t too happy about getting up that early. A lot of times, I’d fall asleep right there at the kitchen table. But whenever I’d complain, my mother would just give me one of those looks and say, "This is no picnic for me either, buster."

So I know some of you are still adjusting to being back at school. But I’m here today because I have something important to discuss with you. I’m here because I want to talk with you about your education and what’s expected of all of you in this new school year.

Now I’ve given a lot of speeches about education. And I’ve talked a lot about responsibility.

I’ve talked about your teachers’ responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn.

I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox.

I’ve talked a lot about your government’s responsibility for setting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’t getting the opportunities they deserve.

But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Unless you show up to those schools; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed.

And that’s what I want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education. I want to start with the responsibility you have to yourself.

Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.

Maybe you could be a good writer – maybe even good enough to write a book or articles in a newspaper – but you might not know it until you write a paper for your English class. Maybe you could be an innovator or an inventor – maybe even good enough to come up with the next iPhone or a new medicine or vaccine – but you might not know it until you do a project for your science class. Maybe you could be a mayor or a Senator or a Supreme Court Justice, but you might not know that until you join student government or the debate team.

And no matter what you want to do with your life – I guarantee that you’ll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, or a teacher, or a police officer? You want to be a nurse or an architect, a lawyer or a member of our military? You’re going to need a good education for every single one of those careers. You can’t drop out of school and just drop into a good job. You’ve got to work for it and train for it and learn for it.

And this isn’t just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you’re learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.

You’ll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learn in science and math to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS, and to develop new energy technologies and protect our environment. You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free. You’ll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy.

We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skills and intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. If you don’t do that – if you quit on school – you’re not just quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country.

Now I know it’s not always easy to do well in school. I know a lot of you have challenges in your lives right now that can make it hard to focus on your schoolwork.

I get it. I know what that’s like. My father left my family when I was two years old, and I was raised by a single mother who struggled at times to pay the bills and wasn’t always able to give us things the other kids had. There were times when I missed having a father in my life. There were times when I was lonely and felt like I didn’t fit in.

So I wasn’t always as focused as I should have been. I did some things I’m not proud of, and got in more trouble than I should have. And my life could have easily taken a turn for the worse.

But I was fortunate. I got a lot of second chances and had the opportunity to go to college, and law school, and follow my dreams. My wife, our First Lady Michelle Obama, has a similar story. Neither of her parents had gone to college, and they didn’t have much. But they worked hard, and she worked hard, so that she could go to the best schools in this country.

Some of you might not have those advantages. Maybe you don’t have adults in your life who give you the support that you need. Maybe someone in your family has lost their job, and there’s not enough money to go around. Maybe you live in a neighborhood where you don’t feel safe, or have friends who are pressuring you to do things you know aren’t right.

But at the end of the day, the circumstances of your life – what you look like, where you come from, how much money you have, what you’ve got going on at home – that’s no excuse for neglecting your homework or having a bad attitude. That’s no excuse for talking back to your teacher, or cutting class, or dropping out of school. That’s no excuse for not trying.

Where you are right now doesn’t have to determine where you’ll end up. No one’s written your destiny for you. Here in America, you write your own destiny. You make your own future.

That’s what young people like you are doing every day, all across America.

Young people like Jazmin Perez, from Roma, Texas. Jazmin didn’t speak English when she first started school. Hardly anyone in her hometown went to college, and neither of her parents had gone either. But she worked hard, earned good grades, got a scholarship to Brown University, and is now in graduate school, studying public health, on her way to being Dr. Jazmin Perez.

I’m thinking about Andoni Schultz, from Los Altos, California, who’s fought brain cancer since he was three. He’s endured all sorts of treatments and surgeries, one of which affected his memory, so it took him much longer – hundreds of extra hours – to do his schoolwork. But he never fell behind, and he’s headed to college this fall.

And then there’s Shantell Steve, from my hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Even when bouncing from foster home to foster home in the toughest neighborhoods, she managed to get a job at a local health center; start a program to keep young people out of gangs; and she’s on track to graduate high school with honors and go on to college.

Jazmin, Andoni and Shantell aren’t any different from any of you. They faced challenges in their lives just like you do. But they refused to give up. They chose to take responsibility for their education and set goals for themselves. And I expect all of you to do the same.

That’s why today, I’m calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education – and to do everything you can to meet them. Your goal can be something as simple as doing all your homework, paying attention in class, or spending time each day reading a book. Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community. Maybe you’ll decide to stand up for kids who are being teased or bullied because of who they are or how they look, because you believe, like I do, that all kids deserve a safe environment to study and learn. Maybe you’ll decide to take better care of yourself so you can be more ready to learn. And along those lines, I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter.

Whatever you resolve to do, I want you to commit to it. I want you to really work at it.

I know that sometimes, you get the sense from TV that you can be rich and successful without any hard work -- that your ticket to success is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star, when chances are, you’re not going to be any of those things.

But the truth is, being successful is hard. You won’t love every subject you study. You won’t click with every teacher. Not every homework assignment will seem completely relevant to your life right this minute. And you won’t necessarily succeed at everything the first time you try.

That’s OK. Some of the most successful people in the world are the ones who’ve had the most failures. JK Rowling’s first Harry Potter book was rejected twelve times before it was finally published. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team, and he lost hundreds of games and missed thousands of shots during his career. But he once said, "I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

These people succeeded because they understand that you can’t let your failures define you – you have to let them teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently next time. If you get in trouble, that doesn’t mean you’re a troublemaker, it means you need to try harder to behave. If you get a bad grade, that doesn’t mean you’re stupid, it just means you need to spend more time studying.

No one’s born being good at things, you become good at things through hard work. You’re not a varsity athlete the first time you play a new sport. You don’t hit every note the first time you sing a song. You’ve got to practice. It’s the same with your schoolwork. You might have to do a math problem a few times before you get it right, or read something a few times before you understand it, or do a few drafts of a paper before it’s good enough to hand in.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new. So find an adult you trust – a parent, grandparent or teacher; a coach or counselor – and ask them to help you stay on track to meet your goals.

And even when you’re struggling, even when you’re discouraged, and you feel like other people have given up on you – don’t ever give up on yourself. Because when you give up on yourself, you give up on your country.

The story of America isn’t about people who quit when things got tough. It’s about people who kept going, who tried harder, who loved their country too much to do anything less than their best.

It’s the story of students who sat where you sit 250 years ago, and went on to wage a revolution and found this nation. Students who sat where you sit 75 years ago who overcame a Depression and won a world war; who fought for civil rights and put a man on the moon. Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago who founded Google, Twitter and Facebook and changed the way we communicate with each other.

So today, I want to ask you, what’s your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve? What discoveries will you make? What will a president who comes here in twenty or fifty or one hundred years say about what all of you did for this country?

Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need to answer these questions. I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down – don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us all proud. I know you can do it.

Naskah Pidato Bahasa Inggris tentang Pendidikan

Assalamualaikum wr wb.

With all due respect to the honorable judges representing, to all of the teachers here attending, and to all of the audiences, ladies and gentlemen, good morning everyone!

First of all, let us thank Allah SWT which because of His blessings, we all can gather here on this event.

Shalawat and prayer we will say to our greatest prophet, Muhammad SAW, his family, his friends, and all of his followers. Amen!

In this opportunity, I would like to tell you my speech about education.

The growing quantity of school age children and a large fast growing of each education graduates, were not followed by the enough and fast addition of infrastructure and education facilities. It causes problems for the government to provide "education and teaching" for all citizens as mandated by Basic State Law.

This issue is crucial because we have the various levels of social-economic-cultural differences. Then for the first time, the application of Repelita (rencana pembangunan lima tahun or five years development planning) with emphasis on economic development is seen as the foundation for other aspects of national development. In education reform focused attention on efforts to repair and increase the quality of regulation and the opportunity to education.

Concerning about this, it is so hard to achieve only if we use a conventional way of the technology and communication, information, radio and television. In 2007 the government has set a national budget for education of 20% for primary, junior secondary and senior secondary school. Programs and activities that are not made solely on the basis of growing number of school buildings, teachers, books and others.

We can identify several alternatives, as follows:

1. Adding the capacity of high school that applied together with the addition of new schools.

2. Increasing the capacity of private schools.

3. Development of open schools with the media of correspondence, modules, radio broadcasting, television and others.

4. The establishment of the practical skills courses outside of school for society.

Ki Hajar Dewantara (1889-1959) was an educational figure who established education institution in the Taman Siswa. He was familiar with the philosophy of "tut wuri handayani, hing madya mangun karsa, hing ngarso sung tulada".

Dewantara classify education goal with the term of "tri-nga" (three “nga”, as “nga” is the last letter in the Javanese alphabet).

The first "Nga" is "ngerti"(understanding or intellectual aspects),

The second "Nga" is "ngrasa" (experiencing or affection aspects),

And the third "nga" is "nglakoni" (or aspects of teaching psychomotoric).

Formulate educational goals that include aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. According to Dewantara, it is the right of each person to set himself, therefore teaching must educate children to become independent in mind, thought and energy. Teaching should not only focus on intellectual mind because it can separate the educated people with others.

Finally, I hope the Indonesian people to improve and achieve more and create child-students more productive, creative, innovative and useful for the nation and country, creating high quality human resources that can be independent and meet the needs of universe.

Pertambahan anak umur sekolah yang cepat dan pertambahan lulusan tiap jenjang pendidikan yang besar, tapi tidak diikuti penambahan prasarana dan sarana pendidikan yang cepat dan memadai, menimbulkan masalah bagi pemerintah untuk memberikan “pendidikan dan pengajaran” pada semua warga Negara sebagaimana diamanatkan oleh undang- undang Dasar.
Persoalan ini krusial mengingat beragamanya geografis nusantara yang luas dan terpencar dengan tingkat perkembangan sosial-ekonomi-kultural berbeda. Ketika itu untuk pertama kali pelaksanakan REPELITA dengan tekanan pada pembangunan ekonomi yang dipandang sebagai landasan bagi aspek- aspek lain dari pembangunan nasional. Dalam pembaruan pendidikan perhatian difokuskan pada upaya-upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas serta penataan kesempatan mendapat pendidikan. Mengenai yang terakhir ini sulitlah dicapai bila hanya melalui cara-cara konvesial yaitu memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi dan teknologi ,informasi radio dan televisi. Pada tahun 2007 pemerintah telah menetapkan APBN untuk pendidikan sebesar 20% bagi SD, SLTP dan SLTA. Program dan kegiatan yang dilakukan tidak semata-mata atas dasar pertambahan jumlah gedung sekolah, guru, buku dan lain-lain.

Alternatif yang didentifikasikan adalah :

1. Penambahan daya tampung SLP yang dilakukan baik dengan penambahan sekolah baru
2. Peningkatan daya tampung sekolah- sekolah swasta
3. Pengembangan sekolah terbuka dengan media korespodensi, modul, siaran radio, siaran televisi dan lain-lain
4. Pembukaan kursus- kursus ketrampilan praktis diluar sekolah sebagai jalur penyaluran kemasyarkat..

Ki Hajar Dewantara (1889-1959) seorang tokoh pendidikan Indonesia yang memprokarsai berdirinya lembaga pendidikan Taman siswa. Dia lebih terkenal dengan filsafat” tut wuri handayani, hing madya mangun karsa, hing ngarso sung tulada. Dewantara mengklasifikasikan tujuan pandidikan dengan istilah “ tri-nga”(tiga “nga-nga adalah huruf terakhir dalam abjad jawa ajisak). “Nga” pertama adalah ngerti” (memahami /aspek intelektual). “Nga kedua” adalah “ngrasa” adalah (merasakan aspek afeksi), dan “nga” ketiga adalah “nglakonin” (mengajarkan atau aspek psikomotorik). Merumuskan tujuan pendidikan yang meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Menurut Dewantara, adalah hak tiap orang untuk mengatur diri sendiri, oleh karena itu pengajaran harus mendidik anak menjadi manusia yang merdeka batin, pikiran, dan tenaga. Pengajaran jangan terlampau mengutamakan kecerdasan pikiran karena hal itu dapat memisahkan orang tepelajar dengan rakyat.
Akhir sampai disini, semoga bangsa Indonesia lebih meningkatkan dan mencerdaskan serta menciptakan anak-anak didik yang produktif, kreatif, dan inovatif yang berguna bagi bangsa dan Negara, Menciptakan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas dan mandiri yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan global
